Stefan Szpajda focuses his practice on patent and trade secret litigation for clients in the technology industry.

Prior to joining Fenwick & West, Stefan worked as an associate at a leading international law firm, where he represented clients in patent infringement suits, trade secrets suites and contract disputes. Stefan has taken numerous depositions, drafted substantive briefs and worked with experts to develop patent infringement and validity analyses.

While attending law school, Stefan was Editor and Executive English Editor for the McGill Law Journal from 2008-2010 and was Junior Editor for the McGill Journal of Law and Health in 2009. During law school, he served as a research assistant in the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Law Center for Intellectual Property Policy and as a teaching assistant in the Department of Political Science.
